Public Outreach - Day 1

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 and 10, 2013, the Citizen Advocacy Center (CAC) will convene back-to-back meetings dealing with public outreach. While both meetings address this common theme, each is free standing, allowing prospective attendees to select just one meeting or attend both days at a discounted rate.

The agenda for April 9, 2013, covers multiple aspects of public outreach to inform the public about the significance of licensing and certification and the work done by regulatory and certifying bodies. Speakers will talk about successes and challenges using various methods to reach the public: print and electronic media, targeted campaigns, speakers bureaus, consumer advisory committees, surveys, and so on.
